Chargebee Pricing 2026: Flow Plan Fees and Cost by Volume

Chargebee is subscription billing software: plans, invoices, dunning, usage metering and revenue reporting that sit on top of a payment gateway. Its 2026 pricing replaced the older Starter and Performance billing plans with a single self-serve plan priced as a percentage of what you invoice. 2. Chargebee fees by monthly invoicing

Below $66,000 a month, stay on the $0 option; above it, the $99 option saves money. Against Stripe Billing's pay-as-you-go rate, Chargebee is more expensive until about $198,000 of monthly billing, then cheaper. Both are billing-software fees: card processing, 2.9% plus 30 cents for a standard US card on Stripe, is paid on top in either case^[3].

3. CPQ, RevRec and Growth

Chargebee sells three products alongside Billing. CPQ handles sales quotes (CPQ Lite is free for the first 50 quotes; full CPQ is by quote), RevRec automates revenue recognition (Performance and Enterprise plans, priced on request), and Growth runs retention offers and pricing experiments (a free Starter plan for Billing customers; Enterprise priced by active subscribers)^[1]. Most early-stage SaaS companies only need Billing.

4. What changed in 2026

Earlier in 2026, Chargebee's billing plans were a Starter plan that was free until $250,000 of cumulative billing and then charged 0.75%, and a Performance plan at $7,188 a year. The pricing page on 2026-10-11 shows neither for Billing: the self-serve plan is Flow at $0 + 0.80% or $99 + 0.65% of monthly invoicing, "Performance" now names a RevRec plan, and "Starter" names the free Growth plan^[1].
